East Montpelier Strong Girls

Strong Girls is back for Spring of 2024  for girls (grades 3-6)  in our community.  The program would be a 6 week program culminating with a special event in June for the girls.   The program will be on Mondays  and Thursdays from 3:45 - 5:00pm beginning April 29th.    Registration closes on April 21st.  

Goals of the program:

• Encourage girls to be active

• Promote positive body image

• Foster teamwork and collaboration

• Provide opportunities to socialize with peers

• HAVE FUN!!!

If you are interested in volunteering, please print out the background check form, complete and return to Mrs Zeilenga by April 15th.    If you need a copy printed for you,  email Mrs Zeilenga at jzeilenga@u32.org (copies will also be available at front office of East Montpelier Elementary School).  

This year we are asking for a $20 contribution however we don't want this to be the reason for someone not participating.  Please reach out if you would like to request a scholarship for this. 

All activities will be held outside, have your child come dressed for the weather.   The program  would all be outside and students and adults would need to abide by all COVID protocols that WCUUSD are following.   We will to use the field right next to the school.
